摘要: The decolorization of AO using contact glow discharge electrolysis (CGDE) combined with sodium persulfate (PS) was investigated, in order to utilize the Joule heat produced by direct current. The decolorization efficiency of AO using CGDE+PS combined process with and without circulating cooling water was studied. In addition, multiple anodes CGDE combined with persulfate is also used for AO decolorization.
Multiple platinum and stainless steel anodes are all used in the combined process. With 3 stainless steel anodes, without circulating cooling water, the decoloriztion efficiency abruptly increased to above 90.0% after 10 min treatment. Furthermore, energy efficiency under different conditions was calculated and compared.
